Sound Test Videos of Denon X2300w AVR

Sound Test -Denon X2300W AVR

What is the purpose of this Post?

This post shows how the Denon X2300w sounds, although, in reality, it sounds different, the recordings produced gives enough idea of how the sound is perceived if played on a quality device.

The Setup :

Speakers: Boston Acoustics A2310HTS
AVR: Denon X2300 W which is 95 watts/ channel @ 8 ohms (Although power is Dropped in 5 channel Mode)
Source: iPod, Sony Blu Ray Player BDP - S5500, Asus Laptop (Windows 10) (Used multiple sources for each video)
Crossover: 100 HZ (80 HZ is the lowest frequency response of the Boston Acoustics A2310)
Audyssey Calibrated (Already Calibrated using the Audyssey's software which comes with a Mic & a stand)

Videos:

1) Harold  Faltermeyer - Axel F

2) ED Sheeran - Shape Of You

3) Evie Sands - While I Look At You ( 2 Channel Pure Direct Mode)

Note: This video was made using the MAINS only, the Center, Surrounds and the Subwoofer does not count here.

More details about the sources I've used

iPod - An iPod which comes with Airplay, can be used to wirelessly stream music to the Denon X2300W unit.

Sony Blu Ray Player BDP S5500 - This is a device which plays Blu Rays, DVDs, CDs, or any other Discs which is readable.
Not only that but its additional functions such as Media Player, USB playback, Youtube is very useful for people.

My Asus Laptop - Used my Laptop for Spotify as I have a free account and Spotify does not allow free accounts to stream music from their devices wirelessly, so the only solution was to connect my laptop to the Denon via HDMI cable and play songs through Spotify and play on it.

I've compiled a list of Tracks which you can use to test Speakers, Headphones/earphones or any other devices.

Note: Youtube restricts its quality to some point, therefore it is not the right source to test any equipment or device, but the tracks I've included in my playlist will be good enough for a start.

Note: The List keeps updating, so you can Subscribe, Share my channel if you like it.
