Review
Denon X2300W is a remarkable Audio Video Reciever (AVR) for a good price. Not only is it loaded with features such as 4k support and many HDMI ports but also it screams of great quality for the given price. This AVR supports HD audio formats such as DTS- HD MA, Dolby True Surround etc
This AVR works well for both movies and music after calibration. You can hear the dialogue of the movie clearly with appropriate settings, no matter the source. You can even further fine tune it to your liking through Audyssey's settings in Menu to match the dialogue volume to the sounds of explosions in the movie to the same volume so that you don't have to turn up or reduce the volume in various scenes.
This AVR comes with an Audyssey XT Calibration tool and mic to Calibrate to your room environment. Audyssey recommends using the 8 Calibration points to get the most out of the Denon AVR X2300W.

I've done a number of sound tests with this AVR and I will be uploading Videos soon so that you can get an idea of how it sounds.
UPDATE: More videos here Click here
NOTE: Although the recordings give a certain amount of idea of how it sounds, in reality, it is different.
A recording MIC cannot record the whole spectrum of frequency ranges, i.e in simple words certain bass or say musical note may not be heard while playing back on your respective devices.
Also, the device on which you'll be playing will have its own limitations.

Build
There is no doubt that the Denon's build quality is one of the best amongst other receivers in comparison. The Denon X2300W is made from high-quality materials, the chassis, the inputs i.e the connections, auxiliary inputs are of high quality.
The buttons, the Volume and the Source Knobs show what Denon is capable of building. Quality is seen in every feature of the Denon X2300W receiver.
I personally never had loose connections when connecting my Sources, HDMI port is solid, where all my HDMI cables stay intact and the Headphone Jack is firm and holds the Headphone plug securely.
Sound
The Sound is the Main aspect of any Reciever in the market, and Denon without a doubt surpasses my expectations. I've tested various tracks including the "Chriss Isaak's Wicked Game", "Dire Strait- You & Your Friend".
To me, they sound wonderful, and vocals are very clear, and what I like more is that the Denon's low-end i.e the bass on Wicked Game is very Pronounced & can hear each beat along with the instruments, like the guitar etc. It feels that the instruments are being played right in front of you.
This was for the Music.
Now for Movies, this Denon is a Monster.
All it takes is the right setting and the right Volume to enjoy the heart-thumping effects directly at you. If you have come across a Movie named " American Sniper", you must have noticed that there are various scenes in which sound effects take place, such as the shooting, blasting sounds etc.
I loved watching the movie "American Sniper" because of the added sound effects. The Denon pretty much has the "WoW" effect left on every person who is watching the movie which is encoded in 5.1/7.1 and various audio formats such as the Dolby Digital, DTS etc.
